Amor de Frida is in tribute to Frida Kahlo. She was courageous and lived life to its fullest no matter what pain or obstacles came her way. Since losing her baby was one of her most heartbreaking moments, I painted her baby cradled into her heart necklace. The vibrant colors I used were inspired by my memories of Dia De Los Muertos in Oaxaca, Mexico.
